 Ways to deal with anxiety

 Finding techniques to deal with anxiety might change your life for the better.  Simple things you can do can help you feel less overwhelmed.

 Mindfulness methods are an excellent place to start.  They tell you to stay in the now by paying attention to your breath or the things around you.  This gives you some distance from your nervous thoughts.

 Another good way is to get some exercise.  Endorphins are released when you walk or stretch for a brief time. These chemicals make you feel better and less stressed.

 When things get out of hand, having a schedule can help.  Having set times for food, sleep, and work can help you feel more at ease.

 It’s also important to connect with other people.  Talking about your experiences with friends or family can help them understand and support you.

 Writing in a journal is a secure way to let out your feelings.  Writing down your thoughts helps you understand them better and frequently makes them less scary.
